wait we have quarters stars now?! when did this happen it’s amazing!!

the opening vignettes are so good i rly hope this doesn’t disappoint

ugh i hate the beginnings of these book sm, the dursleys have such shallow characters it actually makes the writing flat (imo), and i hate how she ALWAYS has to say how fat they are, like damn we get it

pre read

this is my favorite movie from the series so i’m interested to see if i enjoy the book as much or if it’s just the fabulous directing of Alfonzo Cuarón

Odysseus! i like to think of him as sean bean

this is so exciting, can’t wait to see what happens next

omg i’m already crying and i’m not even halfway through

definitely an intriguing premise, i’m curing where it’s gonna go from here..

ohhhh i didn’t know there was gonna be romance in this book

definitely some spooky things happening now and then but overall keeping a pretty consistent pace in the story, i hope the third act turns it up a notch

i never read the any of the HP books and i feel like i have to at least read a few and see what they’re about. obv i don’t support JK Rowlings transphobic statements, but i didn’t buy any i borrowed them from a friend. i wasn’t allowed to watch the movies growing up (christian family) but i’ve enjoyed the movies as an adult so i’m excited to see what i think of the books

someone on pinterest linked to their google doc with the this audiobook, whoever did that i hope they’re having the best day cause i can listen to this at work now (:

holy shit this might just be the best book i’ve ever read, it literally has everything, commentary on scientific progress, capitalism, privatized wealth, reverence of nature, and endless industrialization, and most importantly, it’s so terrifying it’s scaring me shitless

ohhhhh finally getting to the scary part
