i never read the any of the HP books and i feel like i have to at least read a few and see what they’re about. obv i don’t support JK Rowlings transphobic statements, but i didn’t buy any i borrowed them from a friend. i wasn’t allowed to watch the movies growing up (christian family) but i’ve enjoyed the movies as an adult so i’m excited to see what i think of the books

holy shit this might just be the best book i’ve ever read, it literally has everything, commentary on scientific progress, capitalism, privatized wealth, reverence of nature, and endless industrialization, and most importantly, it’s so terrifying it’s scaring me shitless
