My heart is aching!!! So much pain at this point!!!

Not sure about this book.... I know I'm just over half way but have yet to actually feel enjoyment from reading. Will explain more of why in my review.... I just hope it gets better...

Urgh! I don't know whether it's me, the books I'm picking or the book but I'm having real trouble getting through this one.

It's dragging slowly as anything. I'd hoped this would hold my attention. I love demon/devil type books but it's just not happening fir me! It seemed like a sure thing!!

I'm gonna take a break and come back and fingers crossed it'll be a better read!!

Read another book and then came back to it with a fresher state of mind! Feels better. Needed the break!!

I'm so very close to putting this done as a DNF. This doesn't have the same grab as the first book.

I'm finding Ling a tad hard to connect with. She's rubbing me the wrong way. Julius is great! Love him. And Alejandra - Ana-isn't too bad as a FMC. Not too whiny and in comparison to Ling, is a good character and is fitting with Julius well.

Only one problem...

I just can't get into this. I've really tried but I'm going to have to come back to it. .....

This feels really familiar! I'm sure I've read it but with my memory not being much better than a goldfish and it not being marked off here....I'm gonna keep reading!!!!

I've had this on my TBR pile since it came out. I devoured the series from book 1 upto just before 'The King' was released....

But after a run thru easy reads it feels right to go into it & amazing how I'm sucks right back in!

Rhage already has me worried - thr minute he ignored V's vision...whatever is happening with his beast is more....MORE I think now...

I guess I'll see!

OK. ...this is disappointing. ...but at this point I'm kinda drifting away from the story and tempted to skim read which I don't want to do.
I don't know why this one is any different. There isn't as much battle action or behind the 2 main characters. ...maybe that's it?

I'm going to put it down and pick up a stand alone novel and hope when I come back yo it, it can hold my attention!

I've had to take a step away from this series for the moment. purely because it just feels exactly like the last book and I need a breather . I've read reviews later on that it gets better and they too found this one a bit of a struggle so I will come back to it!
