Shelly is finished with Doctor Sleep (The Shining, #2)

Great revisit to a great set of characters. when I read the Shining, I was only about 12. Was definitely one of the scariest books I had ever read, but was sure I missed allot of the character's nuances. So I read again. very glad I did so I could pick up the idea of Dan being a young child during the stay at the overlook. Really enjoyed this continuation though it was definitely a different type of story.

Shelly is 5% done with The Casual Vacancy

So 5% is probably not enough to actually give a good rating, but I am havng trouble with this book. I start reading and then find myself bored. I started as I knew that my daughter (who is only 10) would want to read. Certainly not allowing that for a few years. Will try to get to when a few other more exciting books are out of the way.
