In the Cold Dark Ground (Logan McRae, #10)
Having to stop reading is difficult, so many twists and turns. Can't think of how it will end, except, of course, will win the day, I hope.

The Missing and the Dead (Logan McRae, #9)
I have read all of this series. I really enjoy them. The characters are like no other fictional characters. Although the stories deal with murder and mayhem, there is a touch of humor in each book. If you like Scotland mysteries, try one of this series.

The Dinner Party
A family seder, but not their typical celebration. Humorous and somewhat heartwarming at the same time. Enjoying it.

I am fascinated by this book. As the story unfolds, we meet Eleanor and Anthony who have fallen in love at first sight. It continues with their family and a dreadful secret which is finally explained. The story goes back and forth in time to the early years of the 20th century and almost pr3esent. We find out what led up tp the incident and, in present day, a young police officer attempts to find the answers.

Almost finished with book and I recommend it to anyone with an interest in ballet. The story brought back many memories for me and taught me what being in one of the ballet schools was like.

Almost finished. It's a good story, although, possibly, a little farfetched. A family in need, sisters who aren't close, an nonnmaternal mother, and a look back at Leningrad during a horrific time.

I got this book from an online discounted book site. I,m so glad I ordered it (for my kindle). It tells of an 11 year old boy who is charged with killing a younger playmate. It is also the story of the attorney who takes the case who for some reason finds an affinity for this child. The story goes back and forth between the present and the lawyer's foster care childhood.

Edge of Eternity
This is the 3rd of Ken Follett's century trilogy. They are all excellently written and wonderful reads. I'll be sorry when I finish this one knowing there will be sequel.

I love Camilla Lackberg's books. I've read them all. She's a Swedish author who keeps you guessing until the very end. Her main characters are likable and also humanly conflicted. That makes them realistic. The Lost Child is her most recent book and I'll have to wait until 2014 for her next. In this story, a rather likable person is killed and it's a real puzzle as to why. I strongly recommend her books.

Peter James is new to me. I don't know if he's widely published here. I was gripped from the start. The characters are well developed and the premise of this story is really interesting. I've already sent for 2 more of his books.
