Anyone who has worked retail is going to love (hate) the honesty of this book

My girlfriend got this book for me as a gift to rekindle my long lost relationship to art, which I used to love. After my brain injury, I hope I can do it again. A lot of this does seem alien to me now, but, I do want to regain that part of my life.

I hope that this book might help me get back into doing artwork. I did it so much as a kid and young man, before my accident. I know that it is so good for my brain.

I am loving this book! It reminds me of the years that I was teaching!

I picked it up again. Glad that I did.

This is just so bleak and negative, I don’t think I can finish

Great author, but I’ve forgotten how he can write in a way that each page turn can feel like a punch in the stomach. I’ll stick with it, everything will work out for the best in the end. I hope.

Another negative, bleak start to an instruction book about how to find the brighter side of the shitty times in our lives. Manson is great at this!

Started so negative and bleak, turning honest and realistic towards the end. Great read.
