Only 13% in, and I feel like I've learned so much, but at the same time have gotten NOWHERE. This one is going to be on the shelf while I finish the 6 other books I'm reading. Yeesh.

Trying very hard to continue. Interesting, but not as riveting as its predecessor. Or maybe the main hero is just not as interesting to me? I'll keep trying, I'm fairly sure this one is going to capture my attention again once I set to it.

The amount of detail and insight into the innerworkings of the 2007-8 crisis is staggering. I can't stop reading this. I would recommend to everyone who wants to understand the complexity of what happened, but there's a lot of finance in here that might intrigue some and turn off others. However, I still say, read read read it.

I'm absolutely hooked on the main characters relationship. Seeing how far they've progressed, I'm not sure where the rest of this novel will go.

Ran into Holly Black and Cassandra Clare but it took me a solid three minutes (hyperbole) of staring uncomfortably at them to give a guess who they were. (The 'Holly Black' sign in the black SUV helped.

I already like this girl. She's got such sass!

Feeling conflicted. Not at all surprised about that.

All right, Boundless, I'm finally giving in (I'm not that strong!). Don't disappoint me.

Having trouble picking this up again. I loved her sexy Sirantha Jax series, but I'm having trouble committing to Corine (that sounds familiar, eh Corine?).

I'm really liking Camryn, who is of the non-whiny, non-guy-obsessed, shitty-decision-making leading lady variety. I even like her best friend at this point (bad decisions & pushy behavior aside--we all know those kind of people).

Reading challenge complete! A month ago, I was so far behind in novels that I amped up the amount I was reading just to catch up. I may have overdone it a bit... However, thanks to Kristin Ashley, I was able to put a hefty dent in my books read count in a matter of days!

I really enjoy the premise behind this series, but I want more sexiness between the leads. Being alone for this long and there doesn't feel like an ounce of temptation beyond one fixed look Gareth gave her as the wedding dress came off. Ugh.

It also helps that I'm reminded that from age 6-16, Meghan has grown up in Louisiana. Her voice reads with a bit more of a southern musicality which I vastly prefer so far over the typical Hollywood accent.

Already, this is reading much easier than last time. It's a little dry (which I do remember), but Kagawa's writing seems to find its stride as the novel progresses.

Think I'm going to give this series another shot because I am overwhelmingly in the minority of who has not loved, loved loved this series. Maybe I didn't feel the same because I had just read Book 1-5 of the mature, sexy and gritty Fever series. Yeah, that may be it.

Addicted to this series obviously, but I'm trying to get over Katy's apparent descent into idiocy--and then I remembered that she's a teenager. Been there, done that.
