One challenge that Margot faces is that she gets in a car accident. The author stated that she wasn’t a good driver because she’s not good art directions so you could definitely call that an obstacle in this book. She and the car she hit does not get hurt but Margot’s sisters car gets wrecked in this accident.

Three challenging vocab words are lucid, interval, and anthropology. Lucid means expressed clearly; easy to understand. Interval means a pause; a break in activity. Anthropology means the study of human societies and cultures. The relationship between Margot and Lara Jean is that they are close sisters. They have a strong and loving relationship. The setting affects this plot because Margot is moving to Scottland.

The archetype “One of Us is Lying” is tragedy and quest. The reasons why I chose these two archetypes are because of the loss and mystery of this one day in detention. It’s a tragedy because of the death of a student at the school and it concluded as a murder so they go on a “quest” to find out what kid killed Simon.
