I am surprised. Cara Mentzel is not that good of a singer. The reason that this surprises me is because nobody in that family is a good singer besides Dina. "no I can't sing"(52). Idina Mentzel is known as one of the worlds best singer/actress yet nobody in her past was known as a great singer. This is very important because it can be a lesson that no matter your past you decide your future.

I am very interested in this book because I can relate. This book is about Idena and Cara Mentzel's sisterhood. I can relate to this because my sister is also an incredible musical theater person. I tried musical theater and it did not go as planned. "I tried to sing but it just sounded a lot worse". The same exact thing happened to me.

I am very courious about who Hilo is and also what he is. In the begginging of the book Hilo crashes to earth next to where DJ lives and can't remember anything about himself. He also seems to be in a war with a robot that has mysteriously followed him there. I predict that Hilo is some type of robot because when he touched hands with DJ he said that he absorbed some of his vocabulary.

I am so upset that Prim died. Being the hero that she is when the peacekeepers captured the Capitol children and a hovercraft dropped explosives on them Prim and the other medics from 13 went to save them. Suzanne Collins wrote "then I saw it the medic with the duck tail hanging out". She could have just said Prim but she made it more interesting for the reader.

I am very confused because in almost every book when there is a utopian society either someone is unhappy or at least something goes wrong. " no one shrieks or tries to push ahead." This is confusing because District thirteen is going into an underground bunker on lockdown to hide from a bomb that is going to hit and may kill you. Nobody in Panem was ever like this, especially the rebels.

I very confused why Katniss taking her earpiece out is terrible. When the rebels went to District 8 to film a comercial the Capitol bombed it. During this bombing Katniss tried to stop the hovercrafts but Haymitch was screaming " stop Katniss come back to the plane" but she didn't listen. She took the earpiece out and went on shooting. After this back in 13 she almost had to have an earpiece surgically implanted.

I am surprised that Katniss Everdeen agreed to be District thirteen's Mocking Jay. When Peeta Mellark talked to Ceaser on the talk show Peeta said "stop for just a moment and think about what war could mean. Is this really what we want to do? To to kill ourselves off completely? In the hopes of what?" When Peeta said this, the rebels were extremely disaproving therefore Katniss was mad at them.

I am so surprised about everything that happened in the last chapter. Plutarch heavensbee,the head game maker was on the rebels side the whole time and nobody knew. He rescued Katniss, Finnick and Betee but they couldn't rescue Peeta before the Capitol did. On the rebel's hovercraft flew Gale. He told Katniss that there was no more a District 12

I had no idea that Finnick had a relationship with one of the victors from his district. He has sacrificed Mags, killed people with no emotion and even carried Peeta when he was in serious pain and his body was spasming. When the Jabberjays started mimiking their loved ones screams finnick almost started to cry.

I am very surprised that Peeta told the entire of Panem that him and Katniss were married and that she was pregnant. I'm wondering what they will do throught the games to make her seem like she is caring for a baby. I am also pondering if Panem will think Katniss being pregnant is a repelent or if it will attract sponsers.

The theme of this book is love. This is the theme because this whole story is about the different people Pippa loves and who she is finding out she loves. Pippa loves Darren and just found that out when she kissed him on the beach. This is why the theme is love.

Pippa is having major boy drama. When Bruno came back to the house drunk he told Pippa that she does not belong. The next morning he kissed her on his boat. That afternoon Darren asked Pippa to come with him to Pompeii. She was unsure of who she liked but decided to go to Pompeii. At the train stop Bruno came to say goodbye and he kissed her to make Darren feel bad. Pippa is definitly in quite a dillema

Pippa is having an extremely big issue because Bruno kissed her on his boat but she was still not sure if she liked him or Darren. Then Darren invited her to go to Pompeii and she agreed everything was trying to tell her to be with Darren. When Bruno was drunk and told her she didnt belong she realized to stay away from him. When Bruno came to the meeting spot for the train he kissed her and Darren saw.

When Pippa rolled her ankle and was carried home by Darren I was so surprised because she went from going to wanting a guys so bad but now her two crushes are fighting over her. When Darren droped Pippa off at the bottom of the hill to her house Bruno came down and carried her the rest of the way.

Pippa flew into Rome Italy to go to Florence to take art classes but I can infer that she will stay in Rome because she fell in love with it on her first day; she also maybe fell in love with a boy named Darren at the Gelateria yet she keeps on saying she will not be able to see him ever again but I believe otherwise.

Lucy's pharmacy should be growing because of the makeup buisness in the relaxation room but its not. On the other hand Lucy's reputation is growing because of all the costumers including Courtney Adner who is the most popular girl in high school. "Hey Lucy" Courtney says flipping her hair behind her shoulders "Whats new?"

Even though Lucy is very focused on the grant she is also working hard at earth club and helping her school go green "do you guys see this?" "its all these ways the cafeteria can be more earth friendly. they could change the kind of paper products they use,get recycled plastic utensils, and even buy recycled-plastic lunch trays." This shows that Lucy is very intent with the earth club.

I'm surprised that Lucy did not tell her Mom or Grandma that she created a makeup buisness. Lucys Mom and Grandma acted so differently when they heard the news. Her Mom was sort of upset and her Grandma was happy.

on page 33 Nina Pinta Santa Maria the European exchange student who seems very sweet to Teen Boat said "oops my lollipop is stuck to butt" I thought that this was inappropriate for a nice, sweet, smart girl to say.

teen boat is such a good book so far and it is very intence with bullies and pirates
