Thinking of DNFing this book because NOTHING HAPPENS AT ALL.
Where is the worldbuilding? Where are the backstories?

A bit slow-paced so far

This is where the storyline starts to stall...

Off to a good start.
Dior Lachance is still a stupid name for a main character though.

Too pretentious and confusing so far

I have a sinking feeling this book will break my heart

Urgh, the Tyrrendor part of this book is such a drag.

Quite boring so far. None of the new characters seem particularly intriguing.

So what do we have here?

A female protagonist who’s ‘not like the other girls’ (yawn)
She’s a mere human in a land of faerie (yawn)
But she has hidden power! (yawn)
And she captures attention of not one, but two faerie princes! (yawn)

Currently reading this as my bedtime story to cure my never-ending insomnia. Works like a charm so far.
