Second story, Hearts in Atlantis is nothing like I expected. It drew me in a bit slower than Low Men, but two thirds in I am fully invested all the same. Love how the meaning of the title slowly plays out. Again, nothing I could have guessed. Also, for King, quite original setting and Topic. Don’t feel any resemblance to others of his stories.

Low Men in Yellow Coats done - the first story of five in this anthology takes half of the book. And it took me by surprise. I knew about the Dark Tower connections, but was surprised how strong they were. And how emotional this story is. Can’t quite pin point it down, but it really touched me. I read the five stories in this book are linked, and I hope to learn more about the young antagonist in this one.

One of those King books that draws you in from page one. 😍
