It’s amazing how when you pick up a book you have no idea of the random ways you’re going to relate to aspects of the story. Parts of the story that you didn’t even know were there. Like how Lyric is a foster kid and Juniper caught her mom cheating. Finding pieces of yourself in the characters even when you didn’t expect to do so.

Lyric is actually a really complex character. Her past and present have made her into an easily triggered person. Making Juniper as a new friend is hard for her and she’s incredibly triggered by her lack of knowledge about her. Sometimes unwarranted other times warranted. She has a lot on her plate.

We already know juniper liked lyric. And I feel like they won’t be together in the end.
