Absolutely loving Violet in this book so far. She is portrayed so much stronger and more confident in herself and what she is fighting for. I already know I’m gonna be so upset finishing this book and having to wait an ungodly amount of time before the next book comes out.

SJM is an incredible author. If I could choose any series to read for the first time again this would be it. The emotional depth, the character development, the relationship and family dynamics in this series is impeccable. It is a written work of art and I would give these book 10 stars if I could.

I never want to put this book down. Jack is so intriguing. Rose is so independent and determined. I genuinely love both of these characters so much already.

Somehow I always end up more invested in a book when dead bodies are involved.. 😬
This is definitely gonna be a who done it mystery. I love the different POVs. First book I’ve read where the timeline of the plot occurs in midst of Covid and the very beginning of all the lockdowns.

First of all, I love the writing style. There are so many details and more then one POV but it is written in a way that the tone is intriguing. It is drawing you in and making you want to know more. I need answers. So many different suspicions. One person is obviously a bad guy but that’s just to easy right? Will it be the person I least expect? How is all this connected to Julia? I can’t put it down.

The anticipation is absolutely killing me. This book is so good. The dots are starting to connect but still so many questions and connections to be made. The writing style is perfect and completely engulfs you into this story.

Very quick to grab my attention. I haven’t wanted to put it down. Definitely going to be a quick read for me. Emery is so heartbroken and confused. She genuinely just wants to know the Truth. August, he’s a bit more of a mystery. My instinct says he didn’t kill her but there are so many pieces missing. And did lily start that fire? So many questions!

This book has been a rollercoaster. I have never gone through so many emotions In one book. From anger, heartbreak, to joy. Jude and Willem have been my favorites from the start. The way Willem genuinely cares for Jude is simple beautiful. I hope Jude is able to open up to him more. The physical intimacy part for him to be so tormenting bothers me. I don’t want him to feel like he did with Bro. Luke ever again.

Its definitely grabbed my attention. I’m so curious what is going on in Alicia’s mind. The journal entries leading up to the murder let you have a glimpse inside her head but there are so many contradicting statements. Everyone’s opinion of them is all over the map like Gabriel was loving and caring from some POVs but not others. Who are they really????

I am hooked! I literally have to force myself to put this book down right now. It has me so engulfed. Is verity faking it? I mean based on her autobiography it truly wouldn’t surprise me. If she is, then why? Why feel the need to go to such extensive lengths? To make sure he cares for her forever maybe? Her level of need for him was definitely unhealthy before the car wreck. I’m sure nothing has changed.
