Interesting for sure.
I keep losing my place as I switch between physical copy & e-book, although rereading a couple pages each time isn't really a problem.

this one is having a more ominous feel; I hope it doesn't become a source of anxiety

Continuing story of Laurence & Temeraire, engaging & more. Hope the library can get more beyond the third one I already have out as well.

Enjoying the stories, although as mentioned earlier some of the characters are less than sympa.

Definitely need to look into the "Botany Bay" mention in "Ora Pro Boscis."

I like the scenery & much of the prose. So far though, some of the characters remind me of the awful people in Flannery O'Connor's stories, and I really hope that's not going to be the trend.

I expected a lark but this is more like an epic. wow!
