Okay finally started this. I’m only 5 chapters in, and it feels a little juvenile so far but I think that’s just because I get icked out easily. Connor is already pissing me off which I know is the point but I have barely met the character and can’t stand him. Also not so much used to books with British lingo, but somehow unintentionally read two back to back. I think this will be a cute story though!

I forget how much reading I can get done in between things at work 🧘‍♀️. Honestly I kinda like this cute stupid-ish story. It’s a trope I don’t think I’ve read before, and it’s certainly keeping me entertained. Maybe it’s not so stupid after all. Maybe the lukewarm reviews are clouding my judgement but I don’t think it’s too bad

This book is rated lower, and in some parts I can see why. But so far this story has me interested enough to keep reading and that’s good enough for me

I’m intrigued. I picked the book up for a vacation summer vibe, and I’m only maybe 6 chapters in and all I can say is I’m intrigued.

Not having as much reading time as usual and wanted to read this in completion over my trip 😔. The storms are demolishing my beach reading times and getting in the way of my perfect .. dare I say beach read?

Enjoying so far! An easy and comfy read for the beach trip, unironically.

I’m in love with them at this point. I have breezed through this book in the small amounts of time I’ve found to read it. Their chemistry is everything and it is easy to find yourself in these characters. Bittersweet to be almost done!

Charlie has ADHD and has talked about its effect on him, and I’m hoping they explore this more because it’s something I can relate to. I’m glad they made it more then just being hyper or distracted in its brief mention

The heat is there from the first chapter, I like the plot so far. I’m only a few chapters in, but I enjoy their dynamic already.

If they say delicious one more time I swear it’s like 30 times at this point. and I’m not trying to be a hater I swear but I feel like there’s a lot of dialogue missing, a lot in between. Did they only stay in the cabin a week? He’s already calling her baby? I know this is an enemies to lovers story but it just feels like I’ve missed some things.

Either I’m tripping or this love story is like randomly fast. Like they can’t stand each other and then all of a sudden are attracted to each other? I very much enjoy this author and this series so far, but I feel like I’m blinking and missing a few steps. Maybe I’m zoning out while reading and like not fully computing. Idk but onwards

Maybe I’m not paying attention enough but the order feels very randomized if that makes sense. Enjoying it though so far

Enemies to lovers.. one bed hotel room.. predictable and cliche but I’m into it.

Okay okay finally having a minute to read after months of nothing (during work mind you). I appreciate how this includes her faults alongside her accomplishments. Nobody is perfect, and I respect someone who knows this. Also, never knew how much she advocated for gun control and for many other things, like I knew but didn’t know. You know? “The damned photos; babies babies babies.” Wow.

I had no idea of her previous work with and protecting children. It’s so refreshing to see with everything going on
