Reading this for some backstory and, wow. 3 Chapters in and it is so easy to forget that certain times were so not long ago. I don’t classify Kamala as old at all, so her recalling going to protests in a stroller is so mind blowing. Seeing these changes to the world in real time is unimaginable to my generation. I can’t imagine the frustration seeing it go in reverse now after coming so far.
