John Perkins is on page 47 of Rains of Liscor (The Wandering Inn, #7)
Why is Laken so dumb this time? He's reasonably intelligent in the first few books and definitely more caring of his people. Why is he allowing Lady Rie tell him how to accept royal visitors, and build a hall instead of focusing on housing for his people? It makes no sense at all outside of being forced for conflict. And I'm halfway through the book with no Rags? What's the point of a Wandering Inn book without Rags?

John Perkins is on page 2 of 4 of All Systems Red (The Murderbot Diaries, #1)
Stopped listening about halfway. I've had this in my library for a while, but keep forgetting it's a novella. After watching the show I figured I'd check out the book. Looks like the show covered all of the books so far, and that was enjoyable enough. Listening to a slightly more detailed version wasn't quite as fun as I was hoping.

John Perkins is 79% done with A Parade of Horribles (Dungeon Crawler Carl, #8)
Prepotente says "there's less than 300 of us left." Should Prepotente know the difference between "fewer" and "less"? Isn't he too much of a pedant to get that wrong? You're slipping Matt.

John Perkins is starting The General of Izril (The Wandering Inn: Book 6 #4, Part 2)
Paused because I was just getting bored trying to get through the "Clown" portions. I'm really trying to care about these side characters, but it's tough. I was excited since it started with a Rags chapter, but then it had like 4 chapters that were complete skip/ignore material.

John Perkins is reading Starship Grifters (Rex Nihilo, #1)
Fun and stupid. Just how I like them. And Kate Rudd did an excellent job reading the book.

If you think a space jail called Gulagatraz is funny instead of just dumb, this might be the book for you.

John Perkins is reading Changes (The Dresden Files, #12)
One of the better books in the series. This was potentially going to be my last book in the series, but this is a bit of a reset that has me very interested again. Highly recommended for any fans of Dresden who may be starting to give up as I was after the previous 11 (12?) Books.
