EDGE OF YOUR SEAT for sure. I can't stop thinking about the premise of this book, which keeps getting twistier! Loving it.

Pretty much entranced by this story and by Pockets in particular.

Not far in but these characters are very realistic and definitely pull you in.

Yup--I've found my new fave author. Perfect length books, twisty, unpredictable plots, and plenty of atmospheric details that make reading them seem like an experience. Loved One Italian Summer, and I'm loving this one.

For some reason, third person present tense is always a bit jarring to me. It's an interesting story, but I keep getting a bit thrown off with the style.

Reading this as thriller research since I know it's hugely popular. Not thrilled with the sex scenes and skipping a lot of the book due to them, but interested to know what's going on.

After being unable to get into this one, I've finally picked it up again and started reading in earnest. Enjoying it and wondering what's really happened...

Sometimes I get a little bogged down with MHC's various characters, but the driving storyline in this one is a great concept.

This was a slow build book with beautiful writing (and very few commas, so there's a real storytelling vibe). Got hooked into it about halfway through and had to stay up very late reading...hoping to finish it today.

Basically I LOVE this book. Something about it reminds me of Smilla's Sense of Snow--maybe the heroine who's been through a lot--and Smilla's one of my fave books ever. So glad Amazon Prime suggested this as a read.

Okay so I loved the start of this book, but now things are going a little nuts and I'm not sure how this is going to wind up. Will see!

This book has a vibe reminiscent of The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah, which I LOVED in 2018. Plus, Susie's masterful storytelling simply shines. Can't wait to dive back in!

This is a pretty slow-moving read, but it's well-written women's fiction and I'm enjoying it.

LOVING learning about Revolutionary France and early Pennsylvania.

While it did take me a while to get my head around the alternating omniscient third-person point of view (often alternating between one paragraph to the next), I am really enjoying the pace and the characters in this mystery. I have a feeling I'll be reading more Louise Penny mysteries!

I've figured out some of the twists, and now I'm interested to see how it winds up. I really appreciate finding a psychological thriller with hardly any cussing and no graphic sex.
