Wait, so… the whole book is a fictionalised interview transcript? Why?

Quite repetitive but useful and practical info; consistent with other attuned parenting approaches but using a more structured process. It’s due back at the library tomorrow but I’ll re-reserve.

Sidenote: hypothetical “Kevin”, dad of teen “Jennifer” is so useless, with Kevin’s wife working so hard at being a good parent while he just undermines her. Grow up or take a hike Kevin, ya slackarse.

Pausing this one. It’s too close to home while the flood waters in Melbourne haven’t receded yet!!

I’m definitely enjoying this collection and learning a lot but each chapter/column requires space and reflection, and I’ve run out of library renewals so will have to come back to this book at a later date.
