I’m not expecting much, but the depths of toxicity and codependency in this book are unlike anything I’ve read before or ever want to read again. One of the MCs just said that no one had ever put so much thought into them after the other MC destroyed all of their favorite snacks. What?! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️I don’t know whether to binge the rest of this book or DNF it.

A solid mystery so far. As a huge Scandal fan, I’m enjoying reading about characters who are (or work for) black bag publicists. Keeping my fingers crossed for a mind blowing ending!

Not much is happening and that’s ok, but I rarely feel like picking it back up. It’s bleak and gritty and heavily character driven with sporadic flashes of something unsettling. I’m trying to manage my expectations and hoping for a strong finish.

This book is creepy in the most hysterical way. I know it’s (probably) not supposed to be this funny but I can’t stop laughing! Grady Hendrix never disappoints.

So far, so good. Like all the other Grady Hendrix books I’ve read, this one is a little campy, funny, and nostalgic, but also really creepy. Flying through this one.

This book is intense!!

I love Mhiari’s books. I’ve laughed, related too much to the MC, and love watching these two characters get to know each other.

So far it’s an entertaining cat and mouse story. Nothing thrilling, but a little mysterious.

Just finished part 2 and… WTF?!

I’m intentionally taking my time with this one because I have no idea what’s going on and I don’t want to miss anything. There are glimpses of disturbing horror and emotion and it has me so anxious to know everything. Somehow it feels too slow and perfectly paced at the same time. I’m still really enjoying it!!
