"A delicious fantasy of witchcraft and love" by Cosmopolitan Magazine, this novel was just that. I can't say that I've been fortunate enough to see the movie, so I was able to enjoy this story exactly as intended by the author.
The characters are interesting, and quite relatable to me, and the story is also, quite interesting as I grew more curious of the fate of each Owens girl. A fantastic ending to a great story.

I think Practical Magic is a lovely story so far. I have not yet seen the movie so it didn't spoil my expectations and I do enjoy the characters very much, quite relatable, and the story line is easy to keep up with. I'd highly recommend this book to a younger reader, such as my 18 year old daughter, definitely a page turner!

So far it's a lovely story. I've not ever seen the movie so I'm unable to compare.
