In awe of how well this book is written, how ingeniously the plot has been built and how true the characters are

For a book that came highly recommended on booktok, this is painfully mediocre…

Makes an amazing read right before bed…really struggling with this one

So much hype around this book…I’m 300 pages in and I don’t understand the point of anything!

Very twilight vibe…let’s see

I’ve felt that there are a lot of south Asian names and roots in words used but now there is an actually Lahor (Like Lahore, Pakistan?) I’m intrigued

Interesting starts, reminiscent of two very popular series. Fingers crossed for a modicum of originality

About a 100 pages in, very interesting till now, vast improvement on the Mass series I just finished. Hope it doesn’t disappoint

Some comments on this book: the Nesta/Cassian POV is interesting and their relationship, however complicated that is, keeps things interesting but there are a lot of missing links eg Cassian & Mor (why did he fall for nesta in the first place?), the relationship between Nesta and Fyere (why did she coddle one sister while she hated the other if she’s so rational?)

Language that starts and ends with the F-world, main lead breaking character, even worse language constraints like ick-factor and weird slangs in a fantasy world. Bringing characters in right left and center and very very poorly written thus far

Quite excited for this one!

Barely started and I’m already committed. Some excellent writing!
