I started this about a week ago. I’m on case #47. I’ve really enjoyed these. It’s like playing Clue solo with a grid. Definitely my speed. Excited to start trying the harder ones that include solving their motive.

Though, to add onto my last progress update, I felt the same way starting off in my last audiobook and by the end understood the low rating. But from what I read there was a lot of DNFs and confusion. I feel like the confusion is meant to be there right now. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m actually quite intrigued by this. Maybe it’s b/c I’m listening to it? I’m loving the duel narration. It feels mysterious at the beginning like we are purposefully being left in the dark on some things. So, I’m not understanding the low reviews…? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why I am continuously shocked and baffled at the lack of basic human decency within this book, I’ll never know. Why do we continue to allow it? Oh, right, b/c we as a society are programmed to believe that work, max income, & the fear of losing our job is most important above all else. Greatly appreciative of this POV as more companies like this need to be exposed.

Sadly, this has not gotten any better.

I’m frustratingly irritated so far. Prologue & Chapter 1 caught my attention but Chapter 2 & 3 have me questioning my enjoyment of dark academia. I remembered loving Gothikana but I’m struggling with the characters & descriptions in this book.
Why is she feeling his erection a couple chapters in? Why are is she immediately aroused? Where is this so called “rival” point?
