Decided to just jump into a long high fantasy series instead of just working on the books I was already in the middle of lol. but so in it so far!

This is my first time listening to one of Sanderson's books and it really makes me feel even more immersed in the story and characters! Kaladin is still my favorite character of all time.

Rereading the Mistborn trilogy was such a great idea and how I'll be spending Christmas 💚❤️

I need to table this book for the unforeseeable future, I'm unsure if I'll end up picking it up again! I'm really disappointed because I hoped to love this series! But the constant fat shaming of the main character (a 15 year old boy!) and hyper-sexualization of women in this novel is too much to handle. I'm almost halfway into this novel and am always angry when I do end up picking it up. So it's a NO for me ):

I'm currently revisiting the essays I've already read to use in a grad school paper I'm writing, but I REALLY need/want to continue reading this collection. I know I'll be revisiting it again and again
