Reading this to my 7 year old and she is hooked!!

I loved this sweet read!!

Beautifully written, engaging and empathetic characters, and an engrossing storyline. I finished this gorgeous book with a silent sob of relief.

My girls loved it. That’s what matters.

I’m loving this book. Stopping at chapter 12 because it has a hold on it at the library.

Listened to it in audio. Sweet story of friendship. My 5 and 7 year olds liked it, but there was a bit more boy craziness than I expected. My husband was charmed as well.

So sweet. I loved this book!

I live this book enough that I gave it to a family today. I wish there were more books like this for middle grades.

The mazes are good but the eye spy is better. We can spend 45 minutes on each puzzle. A great gift idea.

It was interesting, but I never really wanted to sit down and read it for hours. So, I stopped reading at about page 180.

I'm really pleased that I gave this a second chance. I love the writing, the character development, how well she writes of the angsty teens. It's darker than much of her earlier work, but still so good.

I hugged this book when I finished it. Such a sweet story of friendship and bravery. I loved it!
