Not a big fan of the narrative, the way it's written.
"Oh maybe this happened, maybe that".
Maybe just concentrate on what did happen and not on what the author thinks Might have happened.

Amelia is such a shit main character. No backbone when it comes to Lucius.

So halfway through the book a chapter started with the scene of her driving a Ferrari like a bat out of hell.
A billion chapters later (and a dozen sex scenes even though they're supposed to be on figuring out the box to save multiple lives) it still hasn't circled back to the car chase.

I don't care who your audience is, if you're writing a book set in Scotland with Scottish characters, you don't use words like "washroom".. or use Fahrenheit.

Good story you can lose yourself in, but...

Some obvious mistakes that could have been avoided by basic research - "the queen's grandson, the Prince of Wales" .. a story based in the UK but refers to mobile phones as "cell phones".

But it's a nice story to read so far, I like the fact the setting is a facility to help wounded warriors. Inconsistencies with some things (is it AFSOI or AFOSI?) but that could be the kindle editing.
