Currently on a reread and I’m so glad I am, because I genuinely don’t remember anything when I solely listened to this as an audiobook. So, that just proves my noggin cannot be trusted as an audiobook listener, because I don’t pay attention and Riley Sager deserves to be heard as he’s one of my favorite authors. I believe this is soon becoming my favorite novel of his!

As a true crime lover, this is hitting the spot🤌🏻

This book is extremely intriguing. I can’t wait to binge read the rest and find out what in the hell is going on🧐

I wasn't expecting this to be set in 1906 and I don't read classics/ older books, because my vocabulary is seriously lacking. This book is calling me tf out on it. Most of my annotating tabs are purely for new words which is at least once a page. So, it's more of a chore to read than I'm used to in the aspect I have to read it at my desk with a dictionary site pulled up. It's a good challenge for me though.

I’m glad I accidentally read the Grishaverse out of order because I never would have picked up Six of Crows after this. Even though there’s only a 3 year gap between the release of both series, I see a vast difference in Bardugo’s writing and style. Maybe it’s just me. But I’m definitely not as impressed so far with Shadow and Bone as I was with Six of Crows series. This book and characters are very basic

Finally curling up to make a bigger dent in this sequel tonight🐦‍⬛

This bitch is even dumber in the sequel… I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to finish this book-or survive for that matter- without repeatedly slamming my head into a wall to make her actions make sense.

This is my second attempt at reading this book. The first time I only got about 15-20ish pages in, but I didn’t have the concentration at the time for Bardugo’s world building. The names, locations, etc. are difficult to pronounce and there’s a lot of information to remember, so I saved it for another time that I could dedicate myself to it. This round is going much better, already want to read her other books

Listening to this book in audiobook form and its very very different. I'm enjoying 'The Last Time I Lied', but I feel like its not as impactful because either I'm not the one reading it. Or I'm just still so much more in love with Home Before Dark that I finished two days before... It's hard not to compare reading one Riley Sager book after another!

Loving it so far, Riley Sager is always a good read!

Lost interest in the series with this book, so I'm adding to my DNF (did not finish) list. I'll get back to it eventually, maybe.

Definitely enjoying this one more than the last one

Enjoying this third book so far. Really turning into quite a fan of the Stephanie Plum series whenever I thought I would only get through the first book. I especially enjoy the nostalgia of this series. The third book being published in 1997, when I was only a year old... So I really enjoy the clothing or other pop culture references. Plus I adore Grandma Mazur and her shenanigans!

This is my first Stephen King novel after being a huge fan of movies based of his books for years. And I am struggling. His writing style is amazing, but not entirely for me. I get lost in the over descriptive passages and I'm so disappointed in myself for struggling to pay attention. I just had to pick one of his biggest book to start with...
