for the first time im absolutely loving the dual pov aspect of a mafia romance book because the mmc is not exploding into stupid drab monologues of how much he wants the fmc and he has an actual life outside of her. he is not convincing the readers that he is a bad bad man but letting us figure shit out thru his actions. we dont get to know why he is so obsessed with the fmc we just dont know shit AND I LOVE IT.

only read the prologue and the mmc already has more personality and ambition than the last three trashy romance books' mmcs put tgt

I would rather spend the rest of this train ride fighting with him than let him be trapped alone with his thoughts and fears again.
