this is going to be quite slow moving; i'm reading this with a friend as a form of therapy homework (doing a buddy read is the homework, not reading this specific book) and we've only been doing about a chapter a week. im enjoying it a lot so far tho and i'm excited to continue to read this throughout the year

one more story yall!! i've been reading this collection on and off for months now, and knowing im going to finish it today makes me really happy!!

Jael was my most anticipated story and it did not disappoint holy shit

absolutely stunning. had a rocky conversation about religion with my mom because of the story "Snowfall" and even though i don't like how that conversation went i'm glad i had it i think. i forgot books could inspire me like that

how the hell have the two first very short stories already blown me away!! this could be a new favorite, and could get me out of this stupid slump
