Hello! So it’s been such a long time since I’ve been truly active on goodreads but I realise that needs to change! School got the better of me and there were times I felt like I was drowning in exams and assignments. I am taking a gap year and applying to university next year so I now have a bit more time! I will slowly be getting more active on goodreads starting by reading and reviewing a book!

I’m so angry at myself for not reading this! School just got in the way and it completely slipped my mind but luckily the holidays have started (although it scarcely feels like that considering I’ve been doing online school since March which honestly takes it toll at times!)

Nevertheless I will read it now!

I’m really enjoying this so far!! I just need to find time to read it but that’s difficult at the moment with school work- luckily, the holidays start from Friday so that’s great!

A great start so far!

I want to continue reading but it’s getting so late and I have online classes tomorrow. My school has shut down until further notice so all classes are online (like many other schools!) and they’re still in school timings.

School can be so stressful sometimes. It’s just so hard to actually find time to sit and read! :(

Thoughts on chapter one: captivating

I’m already into this book and doubt I’ll be getting any sleep tonight as reading just seems more favourable at the moment!

A touching start :)

Good luck to anyone who gets exam results soon or have already received them! I get my results in just under 2 weeks, which is so frightening considering I don’t even feel like I did my exams. They felt more like mock exams rather than the real thing at times!

Which book are you reading right now? I’m about to officially start The Shoemaker’s Wife which seems very interesting.

It’s currently raining really heavily so it’s the perfect weather for reading a book! However, it’s just gone 11pm, so it’s terrible timing. 😂

Recommend me your current favourite book! It might inspire me to really enjoy reading again. :)

I’m going through a weird reading slump. I feel so unmotivated to read, but suddenly have a burst or excitement and read loads and then all of a sudden I don’t want to read anymore. It’s odd and irritating, especially since I have 100+ books on my shelf that I still need to read.
