It’s definitely the narrator that makes the main character so annoying. Otherwise I’m still having a good time

The main character is painfully awkward, but the blooming love story is SO CUTE!!

Mariana Zapata can really write a SLOW burn, wow! I wish I saw her recommended more though, she's such an amazing romance writer!

Nothing is better than starting a book and getting surprised with cute sapphic love! I’m also so upset by the extreme racism and Islamophobia I’m reading (which is a bigger part of the plot), but this book is dealing with it really well so far. So happy I picked this up!:)

I kind of hate reading relationships built on unnecessary lies so that sucks but I like the main character and it’s a cute story so far!

I'm proud of myself for pushing through:,) I will say the sex scenes and the food are keeping me going at this point lmao
