This type of book, I wouldn’t normally read, but was going outside my norm to branch out and I’m hoping it goes somewhere. I like dual POV’s but not when it’s so damn boring.

Well, considering it has 457 pages total, to read, something exciting better start happening. I don’t know how much longer I can take Wren’s “I will do everything in my power to get out of here…faking incompetence…is already tiring and old. Plus, I’m not why authors need to always add the number of times they “fist their hands at their sides in anger.”🙄
Just say they’re angry, we get it

HOLY. CRAP.

So far, this book is awful. Awful writing, dialogue, and grammar. Briar’s character is annoying. But, unfortunately, I need this book toward my 60 books this year, so I will dry my damndest to not dnf…🤞🏻
Some books just aren’t worthy to make the cut.

Page 63 out of 272…not that far into it…but it better start picking up! 🤞🏻

I’m only 20 pages in and so far it is gripping and I don’t want to put it down!
