Re-read before the movie because I remember liking it but not one single plot point

Just when I thought I was getting burnt out on cowboys, Jessica comes up with a backwards baseball hat wearing liberal who supports women’s rights, appreciates a pink bedroom, and wants to travel. 😮‍💨

I’m annoyed I’m still reading this. The hype strikes again.

If it weren’t for everyone gushing about this book I would have DNFed by now. It’s giving the summer I turned pretty but with people I don’t like.

DNF the writing is a bit too juvenile

I read these out of order because I thought I wouldn’t be into this one but here we are so sue me

Yesterday I thought, “I probably don’t need to keep reading this series.” Today, I want more Rebel Blue Ranch.

I read the first book just a few weeks ago and I have… absolutely no memory of it? Oh well here we go.

The explaining that is happening in this book.

They’re getting endless explanations, they’re explaining things to each other, they explain things to their friends that they’ve just explained to each other a few pages ago and heard the original explanation a few pages before that.

Halfway through this stupidly long book and nothing. has. happened. Other than about 200 references to Sera being pregnant (that she hasn’t caught onto yet) and a bunch of babysitting to prove what great parents they’ll be when the big reveal comes.

I love a shadowdaddy and I love this series but this book and these characters are not doing it for me. I may need to tap out.

I don't have the desire or energy to even finish this book. I don't know if I ever will. I'm disappointed. I loved Poison Study SO MUCH. The series has only gone downhill from there. I said it before and I'll say it again; I wish Poison Study was a stand-alone.

So excited to read this book, it has nothing but good reviews :)

Wanted to give this book a go before it turns into some sort of 50 Shades of Grey fiasco.

I'm really into southern fiction right now, that is to say fiction set in the south. This might be due to the fact that I spent most of last summer at various rodeos with various cowboys which brought out my inner southern belle. Anyway, these books are always simple and sweet, but I like them.

This book has already made me cry twice and I'm not even halfway in to it. Very different from what I usually read but I'm loving it.
