i'm so slow reading this but i'm really enjoying

loving this so far!! definitely a T.Kingfisher fan, this is my first non saint of steel book from her :)

i am not enjoying this book tbh. very boring...

i know it's the point but the constant references to smell are getting tired. help.

i'm enjoying this, not as much as i thought i would though. And i keep getting pulled out of the story by weird things like anachronisms, why would a hellenistic woman say for god's sake?

I have a huge appreciation for Granny Weatherwax, she might actually be my favourite character of all time i just love her

i love having a huge series like discworld to chip away at because when i have no clue when to read next it's always there waiting for me

this is like the perfect amount of yearning and ogling each other and political intrigue!! thinking of buying the next two so i can read them when I'm on holiday

while im loving the plot and seeing more of Haymitch the constant arrival of characters from the main series feels a bit forced. BOSBAS was amazing with snow as the only character we knew. There's been like 7 characters brought in for no reason and it feels like they're just there so fans can point out the cameo and not because it makes sense for the plot

absolutely flew through this on my bus! loving it. admittedly only reading because i loved the movie and this is very different but with a similar vibe so i definitely recommend picking it up if you liked Mickey 17
