I’m sorry but this book is disturbing. First off to write a book about a man basically raping a 19 year old kid, stealing her, abusing her is frankly sick in the head. I wonder how anyone can justify it. If you rate this 4 or 5 stars … then I don’t know what you read. It’s 2023. He should be in jail and she should be fighting to leave town or something. Isabelle pisses me off. Just weak

Sometimes you just have to let the book flow. Wulfe is a puzzle to me. He doesn’t say much but he’s don’t get how you make a vampire and it over powers the master. That confused me. And if you kill the one that made you , don’t you die too?

I didn’t like this book as much as the first. The beginning was lacking substance. But it started to get better towards a third of the book in. I will give that it had some choppy parts. Over all it was ok. 3.5/5
