I am really trying to like this. Alot of different points of view, makes it difficult to follow. The characters are meh overall. A slightly different twist to Sleeping Beauty, who is forced to marry at 18 to provide a heir for the throne. A choice she made to save her stepmom, who was about her age. A few twists to the plot.

I gave up. I could not get into it

Having a hard time connecting to this one. It sounded so good.

Page turner thus far. But omg, the author has Luke ending every other sentence with “like”. I think I’ve read that word a thousand times already. Ugh.

Faeries. Dragons. Humans. And WWI. Mouse returns to Thistlemarsh upon the death of her uncle, who surprisingly leaves Thistlemarsh Hall to her, with conditions. It’s in disrepair, uninhabitable, almost. Will she meet the conditions of the will or will Thistlemarsh Hall go to her archnemisis, if you will, Carlyle? It remains to be seen what will happen. To be continued.

What can I say thus far about this novel? Chelsea and Bree are caught up in the death of Abby. The novel goes back and forth to their college years to the current time, with the execution of Blue nearing and no one charged with the death of Abby. While it may seem obvious it was Jon Blue, I’m not so sure.

So far, this book is okay. Hoping it gets better. Definitely more of a
“Beach read/Romance” novel. Chose this based off the pretty cover.

I give up. It’s going nowhere. Honestly. DNF. I cannot tell if this “affair” is in Cora’s imagination or a real thing. Illicit drugs, parties like they are in college still, but parents, etc. Couldn’t connect with the characters at all.

So, this MAY be the first Dan Brown novel I do not finish. Not feeling it. It lacks the whole conspiracy theory, the controversy. I dunno. We’ll see. I was super excited about the release as it takes him forever to write a novel. This may be a hard pass… of a DNF.

So far, so good! Love the storyline. Intriguing. Got me curious to know what happens. Really wanna know what hidden messages are in the dollhouses.

Kinda interesting storyline. Hasn’t completely captured my attention yet. Stephen King moved away from horror into crime/suspense. Not sure how I feel about this one, yet. Onwards I go.

Having a difficult time relating to the characters. Uber rich family. Chose it mainly because it was based on the island of Capri.

I always have a hard time with Danielle Steel’s
Novels. Picked this based off the cover and title. Her writing is so simplistic…chronological order of every step. It’s hard to submerse myself in the book, in the scene. Feels like a different storyline than the others. We’ll see. Been a longgggg time since I read anything by her.

Struggling with this one. Almost 200 pages in, and it feels so repetitive, even with Miracolina and Cam being introduced. And Starkey is like a clone of Connor. Not feeling it. Hopefully, it picks up soon or this will be a DNF. :(

About to start chapter three. First teo chapters were repetitive and to some degree, I felt like I was reading paragraphs of definitions of different terms. We’ll see how this goes.

So far, it is interesting. Easy to connect with the characters.

I am a HUGE fan of The Cure and Robert Smith, so when I saw this was debuting this month, I had to have it. So far, I love it, a ton of information. My only wish/want would be photos and pictures in it as well as it is 437 pages of just words. I do however love it!!!!!

Confused. Not sure where this story is going. Halfway thru and trying to decide whether to continue or gove up.

Definitely a light hearted “beach” read.

It’s so good, completely engaged with the characters. And it’s beginning to get weird, Stephen King weird. This is a page-turner. And a touching story, as well.

So far, so good. But I’m just wondering why many of the city/village names are not spelled out. It’s a capital letter followed by a dash. Leaves me to wonder as to where the author is referring. Interesting technique.

It’s definitely an interesting historical read and 98% of it is focused on the trial details, which with the novel being over 500 pages long, I feel like the details could have been condensed. Some of it is quite repetitive. Back to page 340.

Ok. I think I’m giving up already. I’m not sure I’ve read a thing by her ghost writer, but I did read quite a few of her novels as a teen. The writing is meh. And from the reviews I’ve read, it’s the same basic story. Not gonna waste the time. On to the next.

Just over halfway through and really enjoying the story. It bounces back from present to past, the story intertwines between grandmother and grandaughter. I am loving it and hoping that Abby also finds her true love.

I’m on page 180 of 360’ish pages.
It feels wordy and like it isn’t really going anywhere.
I want to give it a chance, but the storyline is vague.
Yes, he brother disappeared. But the rest of the storyline is vague. Intriguing? Perhaps, but maybe not enough to keep my interest.

Suspenseful. Intriguing. Different. Kinda horror-like, in its own way. Love the characters in the story. I want to know more about Iris and the alledged monster(s.)

So. I am kinda confused on this one. I loved his last novel. This one, I am not making the connection between past, present and future characters. I am nearly ready to give up. Input? Do I continue a little while longer? Does it ever connect?

It was too young-adultish for me. Gave it to my 14 year old to read and he is enjoying it.
