So… we’re really going to ignore the possibility that Eddie planted something in the house that incriminates Tripp? Got it.

Finally! A sentiment of “Jane’s” that I can get behind. “You’ve known him for about five minutes, so maybe you don’t actually know him”. Girl, say it again.

Hmm, why do I feel like the rug is going to be pulled out from under “Jane“? She seems awfully swept up.

I find it intriguing (comical?) and naive that “Jane” can go from describing that her days as a dog walker are ticking down simply from association with a better life and with Eddie, but almost in the same breath express surprise over wanting Eddie. As though there were no correlation to the expensive and forbidden items that she has a tendency to swipe. I find myself laughing at her instead of with her.

Hmm. Already not much of a fan of this “Jane”/Narrator. She’s incredibly naive and the lack of her ability to think a few steps ahead or to anticipate issues is unnerving. Now I’m trying to remember how young she is. Did she mention her she yet?
