I love how Seegars weaves side characters into their own story. Grayson was in a dead end marriage to Brian ( he was a jerk). She then meets Xavier her divorce lawyer and the way he got her everything she dwarves out of her marriage. Their world wind romance was cute in this novella and I'd love to read more about them.

BookTok said it was underrated book and for sure it is! Dallas by far my favorite with the best storyline suffered so much with knowing her worth. Candace was a Cinderella story. Sasha sorry had good plots and twists although I was able to call the twist early on. Sasha ending needed more developing as there should've been some more info for her ending.

The author did a great job weaving in the other characters while keeping the focus on the FMC's story. This story was better than the first.

Ooh after the ending of book one, had to read the second book! Love how fast things began and picked up right where book one left off.
