Not a big non romance fan, but got this from a blind date with a book and like it so far.

Okay so I actually did meet the mmc a while ago and don’t even realize, but he’s finally relevant and I honestly despise the fake dating trope. I enjoyed it for one of this authors books, but it gets old quick and makes the main guy look bad. He seems like he doesn’t actually like her and just wants to gain something.

I’m 40% through the book and have yet to know who the main male character is. All I’ve heard about is this awful break up and the excruciatingly long details of this girls life. Normally I love this author, but the second half better be phenomenal for all this build up.

Honestly not how I thought this book would go. Seems more like fantasy to me than real Christianity but I guess miracles happen. I wanted it to be more romance and real life leading them to Christ but instead it was VERY rare occurrences. Not happy about it, but I’ll continue on.
