Not a quick read but as good as I expected.

Not my cup of tea yet. The characters are motivated in throwaway paragraphs. I don't know why they got together, why they had a child, why he bothers to look for her when she leaves, and so on. I realize it is supposed to be quirky. I assume it will get better.
