almost done, really a good read

4.22 is the average rating for this......Im really not liking the goodreads rating system anymore, I am going to finish this because I DNF's my limit this year, but this is rough

Just started. Im a huge fan of this series from way back, I hope its just as exciting but I hope Veronica matured as a writer cause this was her debut series

i dunno if im going to finish this. I am studying for a test right now, so Im not ready to DNF it but it looking that way....im trying to give it a shot though

I'm really struggling to get through this one I'm afraid to say. I won't DNF it I am too behind on my challenge, but it's a tough one to follow and keep my interest peaked. Im not saying it bad and now that I am venturing into writing a hate to be critical but im just being honenst

IM really enjoying this audiobook, the story took me by surprise. I started reading it with a reluctant bad attitude, but it's got some good magic world character stuff going on, and it is interesting.

you know sp far I like this audiobook...the main character is very easy to settle in with and want to know what he's going to do and what happens next

ohh its already published, so i guess ill buy it cause I do love Greek retellings but this audio narration , its not it.

i haven to restart this book, I wish I had a text copy instead because the Narration is very juvenile, it wasn't listed as YA but I guess maybe it is, either way I lost the plot but don't want to give up on the book since they were so kind to let me read it.

It has been a long while since i Picked an AMazonFirst Read this good in quite some time. Im only a quarter through the book , but its pretty darn good so far. The Characters are pretty great and really drawn out and the place and atmosphere is on point. If you haven't picked your AmazonFirst read yet Id get this one.

Ok im liking this so far....im getting SHuggie Bian or Young Mungo vibes but only pre communist falling eastern europe

It's pretty damn long I had to take a break cause this sh** is dark, it's kinda like Shuggy Bain... But much much darker.... Well done though as I expected!

There stuff I want to like about this....I turned out to be a type of books I dont like that much (zombies,vamps,super heros) ...the main character has a very intersting story and life and I want kick her friends out of the picture they are way way way to sterotypical to be enjoyable at all and drag this story down.

Im just getting into it now, but I am just in love with Amy Harmons work. Vikings, time travel, I think i read so much from here, all different but all done so well and so far this is not exception. It kinda reminds me of A Bronx Tale, not sure why exactly but it just does.

ah i dunno if i can continue with this......HUmans leave the solar system to find a new planet that is inhabited by Vikings....so so bored with the Viking storylines and themes

SO far so good....The narration isn't as good as it was for The Golem and The Jinni....its the same guy for sure, but he isn't really into it I guess

Im liking this so far....It does have Circe vibes

This is a long book....and it doesn't come out for a while so I'm taking my time with it. On a whole there are some very interesting ideas, but you gotta be careful with that in WWII historical fiction, sometimes they can come off cartoony, like The Nazi zombie movies. not that this is anything like that but a character can come off to cartoony if your not careful.

ehh I'm trying not to dnf this. I loved TGG ON The Island, i think ive said that 1000 times, but i just cant get into her other books its almost as if she goes for the obvious plain stereotypes instead of the genius outside of the box like On the island...its kinda not good

This isnt what i thought it was. I think I dnf'd this on accident thinking it was another book ....because so far I like what I am reading very much

Like a good British TV comedy I love it so far

I'm giving this another go, i tried before but couldn't get past the names so I switched to the audiobook

I dont know what to say with this one. Good things bad things, I love the history aspect but something is offputting about the writing style. Its hard to read in some ways....Ill push thru

This is an interesting one, slow in parts but also interesting enough to keep going. Its a good book to get me out of my fantasy genre addiction this year
