Shelving for now, I'm reading an easier contemporary romance

We finally meet the Weasleys!!!

A great weekend:
1 - have received HP1 paperback in Chinese in the mail yesterday!!! I'm extatic. It's so much more fun to hold the book in my hands
2 - have access to Libby through an American university! 600 audiobooks and 4k ebooks, all in English! I'll only have to get Audible credits for German audiobooks from time to time, otherwise I'm set for LIFE (...okay, for ~3 years)

Moving at a snail's pace, I finally got beyond the offensive scene that had caused me to dnf last time. I need to harden myself for the second half (I know from looking ahead which characters are going to die, etc.). I really miss the facetious Dunnett of the beginnings... why does she have to torture her characters and her readers so much?

Just a quick update to say that I joined the Amazon boycott earlier this month, getting pretty fed up with Jeff Bezos’ politics and in general with the chain-reading book consumerism that Amazon encourages. In theory I can get most of these audiobooks and ebooks from Kobo, and for paperbacks I’ve already been relying on Momox for a while. Won't leave Goodreads however!
