the writing and story are excellent so far. not sure what I think of the magic system yet. its fascinating and beautiful but doesnt feel well developed yet. still, Sanderson is very very good at giving out tiny bites of the whole truth scattered throughout the book so it all falls into place right when he wants it to fall into place. I suspect the magic will become more prominent quite soon.
