Lord have mercy this cover is awful. The hero is supposed to be a 37 year old hardened cowboy not a college aged chippendale.

Really really trying to actually get into the writing. So discombobulated and all over the place…. half the tile I don’t know what I just read… 🤔

Seriously? What is wrong with us women? We got this hunky hero who apparently is dream man incarnate, but he's also an asshole who treats his oh so perfect woman like complete shit. Twice. And still this book is an all time favourite with so many readers.

Lord help me there’s more Getto language in the first three per cent than I’m able to stomach. I’ll give it a few more pages before I cave.

Hmm she flees from the hero because of his checkered life of crime only to work for a mob boss? Of course on the legal side??? 🤦‍♀️ Later in in the Book it’s said that she’s kind of between jobs because her company went out of business??? Also, i don’t like her hiding their daughter from him, it’s a big nono trope … but I’ll continue reading, still hoping this is going to improve.

This is verrrry long-winded. Shortening the book for a good 150-200 pages could improve the story dramatically. Not sure whether I will read another one of this author’s books.

I hope the Dom is improving… a third into the story and I don’t like him particularly much

I am SO angry… this is NOT a happy ending. There’s a reason why I read romance and not Nicholas Sparks. I hate the ending, this author just ruined a fabulous Sunday afternoon.

This feels like a very bad soap opera. Shyness everyone rating this so high? I wouldn’t call myself an expert on all things mafia but I know that business is not conducted in front of women. I know that you can’t easily shoot at a made man without repercussions... arggg 🤦‍♀️

I am not all that active on GR but I just have to post this. Have you ever looked at your TBR pile which is hundreds and hundreds of books high and you just thought "I have nothing to read? I immediately need to go shopping?" Feel like such a book geek right now. :-)

Urggg, I hate Goodread's design update - my eyes are hurting and the blurry font makes me nuts.

Oii so far I am ten percent in and found at least three or four typos. Additionally, the writing is kind of stilted and switches without headline or name between hero (3rd person) and heroine (1st person). This hero might be as delicious as they come but some proper editing would have done a world of good!

This book needs to be properly edited. There are way too many mistakes in it which annoy the hell out of me.

I simply can't stop reading, this is too delicious, even though I usually don't care for 24/7 relationships at all.

I have found a new glommable author and hopefully this series will continue in its second half as fantastic and captivating as during the first half. Did I mention that I have a new favourite author? Me thinks I am cured of my reading slump and "I am only finding C-grade-books to read" illness.

Trevor, you are such an a...hole, I can't believe your story is rated way over 4 on GR. I am trying to keep going for another chapter or so but if you don't improve drastically I DNF you. You have a madonna-whore complex and either treat women worse than trash or put them on a pedestal.

Usually, Cherise Sinclair's heroes are easy to like but this one makes me want to slap him, HARD! Presumptuous, judging, overbearing. SLAP

Hmmm is this the updated version I am reading? Got the book over at ARe. So far I don't care all that much for Dylan, he seems rather egoistical which - in a dom - is all the more unlikable. And the writing style is, to put it politely at the moment, interestingly different. I will try to persevere.
