Been listening to this on audio per a recommendation, but man it's been slow. I am on chapter 24 and just finally hearing some interesting stories from the radio show. Trying to stick with it and hope it goes somewhere!

This has been the toughest to read on the series for me. I am not a fan of Chaol and the last book left off on such an intense note. I understand why so many folks decided on the tandem read with the previous volume. I am trudging slowly through though and trusting the process! A very bold move to have the second to last book in such a long series introduce so many new characters and a whole new setting!

Very much enjoying all the over views!

It’s starting to slow down a bit for me like the last installment. Hoping it turns a quick corner!
