This is painful to get through….we are headed into DNF territory

Not sure I like this as much as I did Phantasma, but still a good time. Mystery, violence, humor, an MMC with dark hair this time…what more could I ask for?

Damn, we are off to a great start! This book kept me up til 4:30 am reading. I went into it blind, per usual, and it has kept my interest since page 1.

My brain just digested a whole lot of info. Sheesh. 😆

Had to go for a run to shake off the heaviness of this book. Reading the vantage point of a teenage boy, Walter, succumbing to his new devastating reality as Jewish oppression began. Entering a concentration camp as a teenager, alone, without his family. Ugh…too much. 😞

Why do I feel like Hawke could be The Dark One??

And why do I secretly want that to be the case?
