I'm on day 16 and just finished reading the book of Job. I learned so much and the recaps are helping me understand so much of what I had just read! I can't wait to keep going.

This book is super interesting so far. My only critique is that I wish the book didn’t jump back and forth from different years. I wish it was a continuous story beginning from 1917 upwards towards the 1960’s. It would make the story easier to follow and I wouldn’t feel like I was lost as much.

All I keep saying is I need to buy this book and annotate it! So in super short: so far so good! Also gay main character who is also a larger man so yay representation

The format of this book is so odd but the story is so good! It's such a good book to binge read or even pull yourself out of a reading slump. I don't want the book to end but I also need answers!

I don’t remember the page I’m on lol but this book is so funny so far. With a grumpy old man I thought I would be rolling my eyes and hating it. Although I do still roll my eyes, this isn’t negatively. It’s honestly just oh come on Ove let’s just have some fun! I’m excited to see what the rest of the book holds.

The last story she told brought me to tears. If you are veering away from God then take a minute to read this book. It really enhances your love for the Lord while also affirming what will happen after you die. I have read and hear countless stories of people passing and each count is the same. I was blessed to feel my body being flushed with warmth and love once by God. I will never forget that.

This story isn't what I was expecting but honestly it's refreshing to see nice authority figures in a story about a concentration camp in World War 2. The fact Cilka is able to learn so much about nursing so fast is astounding. I can't wait to finish the book to see what happens but I also will be sad to leave the characters of this story. I also love that it's about a woman from Czechslovakia.

I had to put it down solely for the reason that I need to go to bed but ugh I cannot wait to wake up and continue. The power this story holds!

So far appealing

I have just a few pages left and I am definitely going to be mourning this book and these characters. This is definitely a keeper.

Kleenex’s are a must for sure! This is such a good read. I will be so sad when the story is over.

A Taste For Monsters is such a good book but oh my gosh it just got so creepy all of a sudden. Idk if it’s my imagination, the description, my power of being fearful of almost everything, or the fact Halloween is in 3 days. Either way, I’m 99% sure the ghosts in this book are coming to haunt me now.

This is actually such a good book and I’m enjoying it so far, but since school is on strike I’m doing as many project as I can before having to go back to class. Or else I could have it finished by now.

Honestly Belle is my favourite Disney princess because of her love for books and her patience for others, except Gaston.
