Okay, it's currently one in the morning, I've just reread my comments on the last book and I need to keep my computer next to me in ordre to write my comments. Is this a good idea ? I don't think so but now that I've set up everything, I might as well start. WIsh me luck !

Where are my thoughts

It's been a while since I read such an amazing book. I don't see count the pages or the time, I just want to read and read and read. It is the first "classical" book that has really hooked me (probably because I've been meaning to read it for years, and finally found it). I don't agree with everything, but some thoughts are pure genius. Like mankind is afraid of difference so no one should have more education.

A little long but it's normal and the story would'nt make any sense if it wasn't. She is trying to survive outside the fence and that's hard even though she just met some people. I hope Bishop is gonna arrive soon, one way or another.

3 meurtres ou accidents sans aucune explication. Cela commence assez fort. Mais malgré ça je ne suis pas prise dans l'histoire comme avec les précédents, je ne suis pas certaine que ce soit le bon moment pour le lire. Mais j'adore la relation avec Bruce :)

So Helga and his parents are alive as human too? So maybe the first visitor really was his dad. But why?
This book ends with so many questions?
I want to read the next one!
Also reviewing like this is so cool, I'm definitively going to annotate my books. I have no idea reading could be such an experience (even though I guess it's gonna be as exciting with every book)!

Then what all this shit about? She knew the mission was useless, and she must have had a way to tell them! Why did she let them continue the mission to its end? Why did she wanted the VNS destroyed? Revenge? Sounds stupid.

Now that you think about it, it completely makes sense for Kaine to make them believe he was hidden there when it was only the VNS location. That guy is smart!
But Weber said "I didn't switch you". With italics on I. Meaning her old herself? Or just someone else?

So maybe Weber is really on their side, knowing that the only way to destroy Kane was to destroy the VNS, aka his creators?
But what was the interest of them finding where Kane was. Maybe she ignored that it was the VNS who created it until she learn the exact location and then made the link.
That's why no one was really supporting her on the VNS.

Weber "I'm not who I used to be" meaning she was human then replaced by a tangent then human again? Is that even possible? Would she remember it if it was the case?

How? Why? How do they lose control at that point? Do they even lose control?
But if the VNS created Kane why did he want it destroyed?

Who is that man than Michael can't know about because it would be too emotionally difficult for him? His father? His "creator"? Kaine?

Can't believe Dashner used the same trick in the two first books only reversing it, and I never even thought about it. This guy is good!

Weber knew the location of the device so she was definitely not just killed and replaced at the last moment. She was a traitor from the very beginning.

Seems that the building was the VNS one and they destroyed it. Suddenly, why Kaine wanted it down makes a lot more sense. With no VNS chasing him, life is going to become even easier than before.
But if he was afraid of the VNS, it meant that the VNS was a real thing. So Weber was either not really from the VNS or she was replaced and killed.

I expected a lot of things, but certainly not that one! They destroy something in the wake. But what? And why? Well, I guess it's for Kaine, but what Kaine could need to erase? I have no clue.
Damn Dashner, I knew something was one, but I never expected it to be that. That explained why they couldn't manipulate the code. So the others time in the sleep were fake too? Too many questions...

The name of the chapter is "criminal". Is that a sign? Is all of this only to trick Michael into doing illegal things (squeezing for example) to put him in jail? But he is alrealdy a wanted criminal so what's the point?

I knew that! Of course there is something wrong with Weber and her "VNS" team but what it is?

Wait, when the guard realized that Michael kind of burn the entire thing, he asks him to come up? Wouldn't it be more logical to kill him straight away or let him die on his own mess?
Who is that guard?

Don't you think that's weird? It shouldn't be easy at all! It's like an invitation to come in! Kane is probably just waiting for them in that building!
Even if, I must admit, Mickael explanation about not wanting to be spotted or remarked makes sense. But this is too much. Way too much. I see the trick coming even if I'm not sure what is gonna be...

Kane core is located in lifeblood deep, exactly as Mickael and I refuse to believe in coincidences. There must be a link between these two and this link is the reason why Kaine chooses Mickael the first time. But what is this link? Maybe they're from the same programmer. But why will that have an interest?

But if Weber is a fraud, what's the interest of the thing she gave them? Is it completely useless? Is it gonna "save" Kane for eternity giving him the immortality he was always looking for as a tangent.
But why risk everything? If she hadn't do a thing they wouldn't be back in the sleep.
But it is true that Kane needs them. Or at least he needs Mickael, that's the beginning of the book. But for what ???

How convenient! I'm sure there is a trick with Weber. Either the VNS isn't really there to protect the users, or she doesn't really work for the VNS but for Kaine. This can't be a coincidence.
This operation is going to turn bad, and I'm pretty sure it will be in favor of Kaine.
