Another sign of the different Steve Austin - Steve suspects a man in the story is up to no good. He's busy settling a plane so he orders another agent to kill him. The man fires over the guy's head, angering Steve who wanted no chances taken.

Finally getting back into a reading groove. The first few weeks of school kicked my butt. I missed this.

Finished the last issues of the original run. Look for a cameo by Diana and the Major in the double sized last issue. Well played.

Almost done with the original run save for the double-sized last issue. Looking forward to reading the recent mini-series they included which was a nice touch.

Book shifts quite a bit from the movie. We see how the gold was taken from under the OSO's noses and why only one man was sent to guard it. Plus, Oscar plays a bigger role as he and Steve storm the Contessa's home (big change there from the movie).

At what would be the end of part one if you watch the two part syndicated episodes of this story. Interesting to note that there's retconning going on. McCay does not head OSO, not did he authorize Steve's operation. Oscar was in charge as in the show. I like that they play up Roger's memories affecting Erica down to food choices she wouldn't make.
