I miss Moon-Watcher 😔

So far so good. Reads almost as an anthology. Some chapters are very Palahniukcore, dirtbag protag who's pretty unlikeable but in a pitiful way, and other chapters are the most touching, relatable thing I've ever read, especially the one about her funeral, and the line about reminiscing feeling like she's looking at her life through the wrong end of a telescope. I felt that.

This book is freaking me out!

Ambitious and creative format, but honestly exhausting to read, I think mostly because of the spacing. There's just no clear signal as to the order you're supposed to read certain lines which makes me skip over a lot. It's annoying. Also the plot isn't what I expected and I'm not super interested in it. :/

This dude needs to shut up about submarines and YouTube and start telling me animal facts

Informative academic writing on horror cinema. The best parts for me are the detailed descriptions of scenes because they provide concrete examples. Some of the theoretical parts are a bit too dense/dry.
