To claim the princess bride isn’t anyone’s favorite movie is just so blatantly untrue

I got this on audiobook because that was the only format the e-library had. But it’s hard enough to figure out what’s going on without that, I think I’m going to have to hold out for a physical copy

I think it’s a really deliberate choice she made to show that even in the surveillance state, men are abusing their wives and getting away with it

I hate men

General story is interesting but there’s a lot of annoying things here

This feels really long as an audiobook

A necessary re-read after visiting Whitney Plantation a few months ago

Marking this as currently reading not because I am actually committed to reading this but just to say that the audiobook narrator’s midwestern accent he’s doing for Kip is so bad. It sounds like he’s actively doing chubby bunny. When he is using his regular voice it’s fine but this man was not made for this accent

All I have heard is positive reviews of this book but somehow I am still blown away with how much I love this

I am low-key shocked to be saying this but I do understand the appeal of Mr Rochester

It’s always impressive when an author manages to so perfectly write such a hatable character
