Interesting concept - MST3000 an early work that is pretty darn bad. So far, the actual story is generic (as it was warned by the author), but the comments are spot on about both the writing and the story itself.

I am completely in love with this book right now. I've had others tell me how great it is and have compared it to the sciencey bits of Apollo 13 with more technobabble. That doesn't do this justice. It is so very much better (so far) than any review has led me to believe. I suspect I won't sleep much until I have finished this.
